Coach Matt Kokoszka

Founder/Camp Director, Futbol goals USA
Former Coach, The Kiski School

As a player, coach, teacher, and parent, founder, Matt Kokoszka molded his career perfectly to develop this organization. As a young player, he first set foot on the field as a natural and remained a premier performer at every level of play all the way forward – from travel leagues to Olympic Development through college, where he finished with an NCAA championship title and a Bachelors of Science from St. Lawrence University. After college, Coach Kokoszka coached varsity soccer at The Kiski School and has been recruiting internationally for over a decade.

Coach John Chiavaroli

Camp Director, Futbol Goals USA
Head Coach, Williston Northampton

Coach Chiavaroli has a keen sense of what it takes to compete at the highest level of New England prep school play, receiving numerous all-state & all-star accolades as captain of the varsity soccer team at Choate Rosemary Hall. He continued his playing career at Kenyon, where he received the Rookie Of The Year Award and an All-NCAC Honorable Mention. After College he played semi-professionally in Europe. Coach Chiavaroli holds a Premier Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and a B License from the United States Soccer Federation.

Coach Owen Finberg

During his time at South Kent Coach Finberg has won several coaching awards, just recently being named a High School Coach of Distinction by the United Soccer Coaches. The award, "acknowledges high school coaches that go above and beyond by using their coaching position to teach life lessons and provide opportunities to develop outstanding young men and women." In 2015 he was awarded the National Coach of the Year from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Session 1 - Student Athlete Experience (U.S. & International.)

The International Student Athlete Experience is to give the players, and their families, a broad experience of soccer training, an introduction to New England boarding schools, and SAT prep, or English classes, for those who are interested.  The players will tour five boarding schools which are South Kent, The Taft School, Berkshire School, Williston Northampton, and Northfield Mount Hermon.

In addition, we will be touring two universities which will be Harvard and Boston College. This camp is designed to target players that are interested in learning more about all that U.S. boarding schools and universities have to offer while enjoying 12 days of high-level soccer. Many elite, international student-athletes will be attending this camp to learn more about soccer and schools in the USA. Domestic players are also welcome to join session 1 for the opportunity to play soccer against some of these top talents prior to playing in front of college coaches during session 2.

Session 2 - College ID Camp

LIMITED SPOTS REMAINING

All players will be participating in the four-day College ID camp at South Kent School (Session 2.)  With 12 coaches from top Division I and Division III programs running the camp, all players will get fantastic training and an exciting opportunity to showcase themselves in front of some of the top coaches in the country.  Players will be divided into teams that will be trained by two specific college coaches for the entire 4-day program. These groups will play games against each other every evening, which will give all the coaches an opportunity to watch all of the players at camp closely.

College Coaches Working the Camp

The Following twelve coaches will be working as camp staff/coaches for the College ID session for Futbol Goals USA Summer Camp. They will be running all training sessions, be coaching the teams at camp, and doing individual evaluations for each player that attends session 2.

Other College Programs Represented

In addition to the college coaches that are working the camp, there will be many other coaches that will be invited to attend the camp to watch training, games at camp, as well as the game under the lights at Harvard. The coaches invited will range from division I, II,III and NAIA coaches. This list will be updated as coaches confirm their attendance.
    • Sunday July, 14th – July, 25th, 2019
    • Boys Ages 15-19
    • Session 1 Limited to 50 Players, College ID Camp is limited to 100.
    • Registration Opens 2:00PM – 4:00PM ET at South Kent School, South Kent, CT
    • Daily training sessions include Goal Keeper training with a Goal Keeper Coach
    • Night Game under the lights at Harvard University.
    • Free transportation provided for all campers (only – no friends, family, etc…) from JFK.
    • Includes complete student tours of 5 boarding schools in the New England area.
    • Includes complete student tours of two colleges: Harvard and Boston College.
    • Includes individual player evaluations with college coaches
    • SAT and/or English classes offered during daily schedule not to conflict with any other programming
    • NCAA Recruiting Seminar
    • Return shuttle to JFK Airport provided for all campers at 1:00PM Thursday afternoon and 8:00AM Friday morning.
